Advanced multi-functional and affordable eSikili pedal and electric bicycles and trailers are designed in and for Africa and manufactured with advanced injection molding
Africa suffers from a mobility deficit
Schoolchildren and teachers walk to school and workers to work. Farmers carry produce to market on foot. Businesses struggle to bring tools and materials to worksites. About 800 million people have no transport other than their feet. This mobility deficit is an enormous barrier to development, education and health.
Women and girls bear the brunt of the deficit. Many spend much of each day on foot, fetching food, water and fuel, or taking farm produce to market. Such responsibilities prevent many girls from studying and attending school, which is often far from home.
Sophisticated injection molding technology makes eSikili bicycles advanced yet affordable.
eSikili bicycles and trailers are injection-molded in one piece with patented technology, 100% recyclable, with minimal carbon footprints. Molding is far less costly, labour-intensive, time-consuming and environmentally damaging than welding and fitting traditional metal bicycle frames. Molded polyamide-carbon fiber frames have been proven in high-quality electric bicycles. In-Mold Labelling can permanently imprint an image onto the frame for advertising or branded orders. For security, a unique identity number is laser marked onto each frame.
eSikili's flexible configuration allows multiple uses
eSikili bicycles and trailers are a paradigm shift
